Our roots
Matthew's journey began in the seat of an excavator at the tender age of six, steering through the basics of heavy machinery under the watchful eye of his father, Cathal Giltrap. Cathal's own company, Mr Hire, has been a staple in the machinery rental market for over 21 years. Drawing from years of hands-on experience and insights gained at Mr Hire, where he worked as a fitter after school, Matthew was inspired to carve out his niche in the industry.
